About Me
My Story
At the end of 2020, after twenty years of writing literary fiction without publishing, I finally walked away to regroup, reflect, and ask myself what truly mattered to me.
Without the pressure to succeed, I rediscovered the pure joy of creating — through journaling, drawing, and playing music.
It was in that liminal space where I realized I hadn’t lost the fire inside my belly at all. It was just simply waiting for me to return.
And so I began to heal — through therapy for my mind, yoga for my body, and my fascination of neuroscience, psychology, mythology, and philosophy to understand this time in our lives involving the self, meaning, and creativity.
And yes — I returned to writing, and have since published.
But what I found along the way was something much bigger and more important than that — it was a new way to live and create, one of meaning, curiosity, connection, joy, and fulfillment.
THIS is why I created The Creative Midlife Man!
As creatives, you know the power of feeling of getting an idea that excites you.
You know the time, energy, focus, vulnerability, courage, persistence, patience, and hard work it takes to see that idea build and change.
And you know that you need fellow pathwalkers to help support you, to guide you, and to hold you accountable through this hero’s journey.
Now do this for your second half of life!
I’ll work with you through deep conversations and guided journaling, helping you turn reflection into real movement by asking powerful questions, making bold decisions, and stepping into a life that embraces joy, challenge, meaning, curiosity, and fulfillment.
Midlife isn’t a crisis — it’s a powerful transition between who we were and who we’re ready to become.
If you're ready to begin your next bold new chapter, I'd be honored to walk beside you as you write it!
